The H & R Pardner Pump Shotgun Review
74A Great Rifled Barrel Shotgun For Less Than $300.00
I'm becoming more and more enamored with guns, and the out doors. I'd first got into guns, shooting sports, and hunting at a very young age, and then I just got out of it. I became something of a bookworm with a rabid affection for baseball. Nowadays, I read less, but probably think more. I also still enjoy baseball, but because of the good investment value provided with ownership of firearms, I want to own more of them. I used to own stocks in various companies; but it would have been wiser, in the end, had I invested in more guns. There is also, of course, the patriotic thing to do; we must simply scream, and continually scream louder ever time someone tries to encroach upon our Constitutionally provided rights, and of course, this includes the right to bare arms. These things, our rights, are not to be taken lightly at all.
High on my list of high cost to value guns is anything by Harrington and Richardson, otherwise known as "H & R," they just make great guns for a low price. These are all affordable, and worthy investments that also make great hunting companions. I own a Harrington and Richardson single shot shotgun since I was twelve years old. I know these are good guns for use, or just for investments. I paid sixty five dollars for the single shot, and now it sells for two hundred bucks; that's a nice, safe, profitable investment!

The H & R Pardner Pump Shotgun
If you think that the H & R Pardner Pump Shotgun looks very similar to a Remington 870 Pump Shotgun, well, you're onto something with that. The gun is so similar to the Remington 870 that legal action was going to be considered as a recourse for this faithful reproduction up until the same company bought out the both of them. If you're a poor boy like myself, then that was a good thing, as the made in China H and R is a wonderful gun for the money, and you are probably finding less money in your pockets these days. Sure, if you can buy American, then you should do so whenever you can. With the H & R you are looking at a savings of about $20 to $50 bucks.
Having not field tested one of these on my own, I can leave you with the complaints of the Outdoor Life reviewer, and his or her expressed thoughts, "wish it had a better trigger." The trigger pull weight is reported to be six pounds and thirteen ounces. As a slug gun, this shotgun features a rifled barrel, and works as a rifle in a pinch. My first thoughts when reading about this thing were that it would make a wonderful gun for hog hunting; and as was further reported, the accuracy at a hundred yards with slugs was great. One must realize that as a rule, firing slugs from a shotgun is going to be a universally high recoil proposition, and that there are after market remedies and products for that. The gun comes with Cantilever extensions and Weaver style mounts provide for adding a scope on top with ease. Priced to sell at $296 dollars, this gun cost less than most rifled barrels do all on their own. I want one, and the value for the money on this great shotgun is going to be tough to beat.

Send lawyers guns and money:-P Don't know squat about shotguns but I know I don't want one starin' at me! My ex's mom lived in Houston and about 10 years ago the guy she lived with died. He was a hunter originally from Tennessee and had all kinds of collectible guns and fishing rods, reels and lures. They went down they to move her back here and gave all the shit away except for a tackle box full of nice lures. Her dumb ass brother gave the fucking guns to the cops! WTF?
I'm with you man, I always say it would be a scary world if only cops and criminals had guns. As for shooting someone, ya' just neva know. The only thing wrong with you is it ain't opening day yet!!
Dude you need to shoot a pig and butcher that bad boy. I was just watching a show about Kentucky hunting and they showed pix of young kids bagging their first turkey or deer. Folks around here are into it. I like it cause I don't have to do the work and still get to sample the stuff. There are so many fuckin' deer in the city here they let folks bow hunt to thin them out. I'm not sure if killing a deer (that just kind of stops and looks at you) is considered hunting though. We had a guy from Cincinnati that was in the Olympics and won gold medals for archery.
If you've ever been around anyone dressing a deer you know it's fuckin' nasty. Deer meat is pretty good but they make a summer sausage from it that kicks ass. I think a pig would be doable...oh shit that didn't sound right at all (cause I'm sure I've done a couple). Hunting is fine if done right (I hate those damn game preserves)
I'm a public school reject too. It's a place where they take so called hunters where it's all fenced in and the animals don't have a chance in hell. Folks pay big $ to do the shit too. That's bullshit and not sport in my book.
Nice article, meant for people that needs the H and Rpardner pump shotgun.
hahahaha, justom busted me up with doin the pigs. A good hub but your no poster child for us red meat eating carnivores that like good clean meat that isn't grown on being fed dead cows that are ground up and fed back to the heard, talk about swearing off meat, watch those videos, the do the same with chicken nasty stuff,

I stay with Remington, especially during times you just can't survive the click of a misfire. If you've seen it in life I have at least handled it if not owned it or currently own it. You up for calling in the seats on the chopper and hanging AR-10 rifles from bungees and running hogs and popping their heads? The birds been checked and is flying again, I prefer warmer weather but I'm down for a bit of fun,

I never had a gun, and now as a convicted felon I will never be allowed to have one. Why convicted felons are not allowed to have guns? Your hub really convinced me of the financial wisdom of investing in guns!!!
There goes my opportunity of a life time to by financially independent...
